Isn’t everyone’s bed on the front porch

One week ago Sunday, Rob notice that he had an itchy rash on this arms on a very windy Sunday.   We assumed that it was itchy caterpillar.  It is common and the winds carry the fibers/ hairs around.  He took a histamine and we thought everything would be fine…

he was taking the meds everyday and the rash was getting worse.  florence decided to wash the blankets on the bed.  i helped her grab the bed skirt.

and then we saw this…

ummmmmmmm, my ocd went into overdrive.  this was thursday.  we had the bed out doors within 15 min.  called the bug man with 40 min.  the linens stripped off and soaking in hot water within 1 hr.  i was off to buy special soap.  the bed bugs that they have here aren’t the teeny tiny ones that north america but instead visible to neckked eye to make it worse (at least from my ocd view point)

florence and i started to clean up the room friday after lunch while the bugs were still crawling around and NOT DEAD!!!!!!  well, that doesn’t work.  so we really empty the room, closets and bathroom space.  everything out…

sprayed again saturday.  luka went to play with eben and lewis and eat lunch and take nap in eben’s bed.  we deemed the house sleepable saturday nite.

luka and i are in the guest room, poppy on the couch and everything else is up in the air
